A beautiful morning snow has turned everything into a white page upon which we can all write our own histories in relief prints.

12.05.07 FIRST SNOW

Early this morning the first snow storm of winter rolled in, decorating a neighboor's hunting cabin for the holidays and stealing all of the color from this color photo.

10.29.07 FIRST FROST

Cold last night! We get out the blankets and turn the heat on downstairs. We awake in the morning to a frost covered world. Frost is a bit late this year, I would have expected it more toward the middle of the month. I can remember that in 1979 we even had a snow in October!

Here it is the morning before Easter and we are blessed with a suprise snow! Beautiful. What more can be said?

Wonderful suprise this morning. And on a Sunday no less. Joy throughout the house! And moisture for the spinach bed.
